How Lifesteal Works
When you kill another player in a PvP zone, you steal one heart from them. If you die, you lose one heart. Players who lose all their hearts enter a temporary ban period, creating real stakes for every fight.
Why It Works
- Risk vs. Reward: Every fight matters. You cannot endlessly throw yourself at enemies without consequences.
- Social Tension: Trust becomes valuable. Alliances break, rivalries form, and betrayals happen.
- Comeback Paths: Hearts can be recovered through special events, quests, and milestone rewards, so a single loss never ends your journey permanently.
Safe Zones
Spawn, protected claims, and designated market areas are safe zones where PvP is disabled. Lifesteal mechanics only apply in PvP-enabled zones and during events.
